National Treasure Subsidiary Vogue International Signs MOU with Katana Golf on Golf Gear Business

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Vog International (Chairman Ha Hyun), a subsidiary of Kookbo, a KOSPI-listed company, announced on the 6th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Katana Golf (Chairman Kim Hongdeuk) regarding the golf gear business.

According to the MOU, Katana Golf will provide technical expertise and be responsible for the manufacturing and production of golf clubs for Vog International’s BOGNER brand golf club line. Vog International plans to launch BOGNER brand golf clubs for sale within this year.

With this MOU, Vog International’s golf gear business, which received a license approval from the German BOGNER headquarters on the 30th of last month, is expected to gain further momentum.

Katana Golf made a sensational debut in the golf industry in 1999 by launching the world’s first Azroll titanium Sword 300/325Ti series, setting explosive sales records from the start under the slogan “Distance Revolution.”

Katana Golf, which has written a distance legend with its SWORD drivers to date, has led the release of new clubs armed with innovative ideas, new materials, and new technologies every year, becoming the source of the trend for high-rebound clubs that dominate the golf club market.

In particular, Katana Golf gained fame with its ultra-high rebound driver “Hi-COR” and applied this know-how to launch the “Forged CNC Driver,” which secures maximum moment of inertia and strong trajectory and stability with a high-elasticity shaft.

In 2021, Katana Golf released the new-concept forged iron “SWORD RH-20S Iron,” a product that continues the reputation of the SWORD driver, with high trajectory and distance as its core strengths.
