[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] On Wednesday the 6th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide and the heatwave will continue.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 5th, from the afternoon to nighttime of the next day, most inland areas across the country will experience showers of 5 to 40 mm. Northern Gyeonggi and northern Gangwon Yeongseo will receive more than 60 mm of rain. Morning low temperatures are forecast to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 27 and 34 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions. However, the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region are expected to temporarily reach 'Bad' levels in the morning.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
