Exhibition Featuring Park Seo-bo, Lee Ufan, and David Hockney
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Art Continue Goyang Paju Gallery will hold its opening ceremony on the 7th.
Art Continue (CEO Eom Jinseong) has opened the Art Continue Gallery in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in December 2020, followed by branches in Gyodae Atelier, Daejeon, Busan CGV Art Lounge, and Yongsan VIP.
Art Continue Goyang Paju Gallery will showcase works by artists who are actively traded in the auction market at its opening exhibition. The exhibition will feature works by domestic artists such as Park Seobo, Lee Ufan, Lee Kangso, Kim Taeho, and Ha Taeim, as well as international artists including David Hockney, Mel Bochner, Takeru Amano, and Madsaaki.
Art Continue stated that it prepared this exhibition to make artworks, which are often considered a privilege of the wealthy, easily accessible to the general public and to help even those unrelated to art find a connection with it. They added that the opening exhibition focuses on auction pieces to facilitate practical art investment experiences where participants can directly buy and sell artworks together with Art Connectors.
In cooperation with Goyang City and Paju City, Art Continue plans to provide the space to local artists and aspiring artists and to lead projects that contribute to revitalizing the local economy by creating jobs for career-interrupted housewives and the elderly through Art Connector education.
CEO Eom Jinseong of Art Continue said, “With the opening of Art Continue Goyang Paju Gallery, we hope collectors can acquire better works and artists can create in a better environment. Art Connectors will receive better support for artwork sales and education, and we will support them to demonstrate the strength of K-art in the international art market.”
Art Continue is a company leading the popularization of the domestic art market under the slogan of connecting art and people. It provides art education content, marketing strategies, and IT platforms.
