Providing 'One-Stop Service' in Collaboration with the Social Economy Distribution Support Center
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 5th that the Jeonnam Eastern Branch of the Social Economy Integrated Support Organization has opened.
The Social Economy Integrated Support Organization acts as an intermediary between the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, and social economy enterprises, handling social enterprise certification consulting and enterprise performance management.
The Jeonnam regional Social Economy Integrated Support Organization has been operated under consignment from the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency by ▲ Jeollanam-do Rural Comprehensive Support Center (Naju) ▲ Sangsaengnamu (Yeosu) since this year, but yesterday, the Eastern Branch was opened in Suncheon Araetjang as a branch of the Jeonnam Rural Comprehensive Support Center.
With this, it will resolve the low accessibility of social economy enterprises in Suncheon and the eastern Jeonnam region, and help the growth of social economy enterprises through efficient management, supervision, consultation, and support.
Additionally, the Jeollanam-do Rural Comprehensive Support Center and the Jeonnam Social Economy Distribution Support Center signed an agreement to provide one-stop services for consultation, support, and market expansion, thereby reducing confusion caused by overlapping tasks and collaborating for the stable growth of social economy enterprises.
A Suncheon City official said, “With the establishment of the Eastern Branch of the Integrated Support Organization, a foundation has been laid for the independence and growth of local social economy enterprises,” and added, “Suncheon City will also promote various projects such as market expansion and sales promotion events to revitalize social economy enterprises.”
