[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Bo-ryeong] Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, and Bae Hyun-jin, Supreme Council member, continued their verbal sparring on the 5th.
On that morning, Lee appeared on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus' and, when asked about Bae's boycott of the Supreme Council meeting, said, "If she doesn't want to come, what can I say?" Bae had declared her absence from the Supreme Council meeting the day before, stating she felt a heavy responsibility regarding Lee's personal issues.
Lee then said, "She (Bae) made remarks implying that the Innovation Committee was a private organization, but now it seems that’s not the case," adding, "In hindsight, there might be some embarrassing aspects."
Bae responded in kind. Through Facebook that day, she said, "Everyone knows that he (Lee) is fighting not with anyone else but with himself in his twenties," emphasizing, "'I didn’t do it. Sorry for causing trouble'?if he had said these ten words with conviction, this issue could have been resolved simply. How many months has it been?"
She continued, "Isn't it too disappointing and harsh for many who trusted and supported him to waste time with rambling this week?" and urged, "Just say what needs to be said."
