The Most Popular Book in Yes24 Book Club for the First Half of the Year is <i class="emphasis">The Discomfort Convenience Store</i>


[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] Yes24 bookstore announced the popular books for the first half of this year. Based on the unlimited e-book subscription platform 'Book Club,' "The Uncomfortable Convenience Store" ranked first. Other titles such as "Dollar Gut Dream Department Store 2," "There Are No Fish," "Why Do I Overthink?," and "The Laws of the Mind" also ranked high on the Book Club popularity chart.


According to the popularity rankings by category, the most loved books in the fields of economy & management, self-development, novels, and essays were "The Economist 2022 World Outlook," "I Decided to Change the Very Basics of My Life," "Diary of a Stranger," and "The Attitude of Adults," respectively.


In the fields of humanities, history, arts, and natural sciences, the popular books were "Adult Vocabulary," "World History Read Backwards," "Room Art Museum," and "Studying Neuroscience When I Want to Know Myself," respectively.


The most chosen books by Book Club members by gender and age group (teens and twenties, thirties and forties, fifties and sixties) were also revealed. Women in their teens and twenties preferred "A Thousand Blues," women in their thirties and forties chose "One Day Suddenly Lethargy Came," and women in their fifties and sixties favored "My Day Starts at 4:30 AM." Men in the same age groups enjoyed "Wide and Shallow Knowledge for Intellectual Conversation 0," "The Millionaire Fastlane," and "Miscellaneous Knowledge," respectively.


Six books recommended by Book Club MDs as 'Books with Behind-the-Scenes Stories' were also introduced: "The Joy and Sorrow of Hair," "Don Quixote's Table," "Learning Joseon Royal Myths Through Comics," "Doris's Red Notebook," "A Short History of the Earth," and "Crazy, Strange, Arrogant, and Smart Women."
