‘John Deere Classic Champion’ J.T. Poston jumped 41 spots by earning 2.00 points in the weekly official golf world rankings announced on the afternoon of the 4th (Korean time). He accumulated points by winning the PGA Tour John Deere Classic (total prize money $7.1 million) held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, USA (par 71, 7,268 yards) which ended that morning. This is his second career win in three years since the Wyndham Championship in August 2019, completing a ‘wire-to-wire’ victory after leading from the first day.


Scottie Scheffler (both from the USA) remains in 1st place. Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) is 2nd, and Jon Rahm (Spain) swapped to 3rd place. Collin Morikawa is 4th, and Justin Thomas, the second major ‘PGA Championship Champion’ (both from the USA), is positioned 5th. Korea has four players in the ‘Top 100’: ‘Shriners Champion’ Im Sung-jae (24) at 23rd, ‘AT&T back-to-back winner’ Lee Kyoung-hoon (31) at 40th, ‘Asian Tour money leader’ Kim Joo-hyung (20) at 61st, and Kim Si-woo (27, both from CJ Logistics) at 65th.
