Yongsan Government Complex Remodeling Completed... Yoon Moves into Main Office on 2nd Floor

[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] It has been reported that the renovation of President Yoon Seok-yeol's office on the 2nd floor of the Yongsan Presidential Office has been completed. It is expected that there will be no functional differences from the 5th-floor office that was used until now.

According to the presidential office on the 3rd, the main office renovation was completed while President Yoon was on an overseas trip. However, for security reasons, the timing and location of his work will not be disclosed to the public. The Yongsan building has a secondary office on the 5th floor, which is almost the same size as the main office on the 2nd floor.

The renovation of the official briefing room next to the 1st-floor press room has also been completed. The presidential office plans to open the staff cafeteria in the basement level 1 of the building starting from the 4th. In one separate area of the staff cafeteria, a round table with 10 seats has been prepared where President Yoon can dine with his aides or receive guests.

However, the Hannam-dong residence where President Yoon and his wife will live is expected to be completed after mid-month.
