This heatwave is expected to continue until the 6th. For the time being, the highest perceived temperature will be very hot at 33 to 35°C, and tropical nights will occur during the nighttime.
The high solar radiation has heated the ground surface, and Typhoon Aere (No. 4), moving northward from the south, along with the North Pacific High, is continuously blowing hot and humid air.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Most regions nationwide will experience hot and humid weather until the 6th," adding, "Heatwave alerts will be issued for most inland areas, and the highest perceived temperature is expected to exceed 33°C."
