[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] In the early dawn, a man in his 40s broke into a house, wielded a weapon, seriously injuring a man in his 60s, and fled but was caught.


According to the Sasang Police Station in Busan on the 3rd, at around 4:03 a.m. on the 3rd, Mr. A (68) was found stabbed with a weapon on a street in Mora-dong, Sasang-gu, Busan.


The police stated that the suspect, Mr. B in his 40s, broke into Mr. A's house, wielded a weapon, and fled.


Mr. A, who suffered serious injuries to his abdomen, lost consciousness and was found collapsed on the road in front of his residence. He was transported to a hospital and is currently receiving treatment.


The criminal investigation division of Sasang Police Station said, "We tracked the suspect and arrested Mr. B at a hideout in Sasang-gu around 2 p.m. on the same day."


The police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for Mr. B on charges of attempted murder after investigating the motive for the crime.
