Operating a Dedicated Channel Tailored to Youth to Ensure No One Misses Out Due to Policy Unfamiliarity
Busan City has launched a dedicated youth policy promotion channel called "Youth G Dae Social Network (Facebook·Instagram)" to create a "Busan where people want to live again."
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan City has launched a dedicated youth policy promotion channel called ‘Youth G Dae Social Media (Facebook·Instagram)’ to create a ‘Busan where you want to live again’ on the occasion of the inauguration of the 8th term of the civilian government.
The newly launched social media channels are Facebook and Instagram, designed to provide integrated youth information tailored to the youth’s perspective so that no young person misses out on policies due to lack of awareness, and to capture the diverse voices of youth.
Until now, youth policy promotion was conducted along with other policies through the city’s official social media, but through ‘Youth G Dae Social Media,’ information on youth policies will be provided easily and quickly anytime and anywhere. The city also plans to envision a happy Busan for youth and share and spread it together with them.
The city will hold a commemorative event for the launch of ‘Youth G Dae Social Media’ from July 1 to 11. To participate, follow ‘Youth G Dae Facebook·Instagram’ and write a supportive message in the comments. Winners will be selected by lottery and receive coffee coupons as prizes.
‘Youth G Dae’ is a new brand of Busan City’s youth policy that builds a solid foundation for Busan youth, meaning that Busan will nurture and protect the future of youth through ▲Good Job (increasing jobs) ▲Good Life (improving housing and living) ▲Good Play (enjoying culture and activities) ▲Good Voice (expanding participation and rights).
Omikyung, head of the Youth Hope Policy Division of the city, said, “Through ‘Youth G Dae Social Media,’ we will continue active communication with more youth and actively support them to grow and settle happily,” urging many Busan youth to participate.
