SW Education Global Prestigious India Delhi University to Join Dongmyung University Faculty... Collaboration on 'Project Web Design and Development'

Dongmyung University "Global SW Education" Joint Program with Delhi University, India

On the 1st, Dongmyung University and the University of Delhi in India held an opening event for overseas software education at Dongmyung University.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Dongmyung University is collaborating with the University of Delhi in India, a global university in the field of software education, to conduct a collaborative education program.

The Departments of Computer Engineering, Game Engineering, AI, Information Security, and Digital Media Engineering, which participate in Dongmyung University's SW-Centered University Project Group, will operate the "Dongmyung University-University of Delhi Joint Project-Based Web Design and Development Program" with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Delhi, India, for four weeks from the 4th to the 27th.

The opening event was held on the 1st at Dongmyung University's Coding Workspace. The event was attended by the deans of academic affairs and heads of international exchange offices from both Dongmyung University and the University of Delhi, the director of Dongmyung University's SW-Centered University Project Group, department professors, and 46 students from both universities.

Dongmyung University's SW-Centered University Project Group conducts global SW education annually with renowned foreign universities. Last year, about 20 Dongmyung University students and about 20 students from California State University participated in project-based SW education, experiencing the latest web technologies and collaboration.

This summer vacation, 20 students from the Departments of Computer Engineering, Game Engineering, AI, Information Security, and Digital Media Engineering, along with 26 students from the University of Delhi's Department of Computer Science, will participate together in the education program to complete the project.

The education, led by professors from the University of Delhi, offers an opportunity to experience international sensibility, collaboration, and global SW education.

Since being selected for the project in October 2018, Dongmyung University's SW-Centered University Project Group has been enhancing students' global SW capabilities and practical skills through exchanges with overseas universities since 2019.

Over three years, 86 students have completed overseas SW education. They carried out team projects with foreign students.
