"Curious About Your Job?" ... Dongmyeong University Hosts Youth Career and Job 'Open Campus Fair'

60 Aptitude and Other Exhibition Experience Events, High School Education Contribution University Project Underway

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] An 'Open Campus' fair that allows teenagers to explore careers and occupations will be held at Dongmyung University.

Dongmyung University will hold the 'Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Youth Do-ing Career and Job Experience Fair' on campus for two days on the 8th and 9th.

This is a free open campus event recently held by Dongmyung University, which is conducting the Do-ing talent development project emphasizing challenge, experience, and practice, supported by the Ministry of Education's High School Education Contribution University Support Project.

For the first time, the event will be conducted as a cooperative effort among industry, academia, and research sectors to allow youth to explore aptitude, career paths, and occupations.

Various programs will be presented, including experiences in the Job Exploration Zone, Career Exploration Zone, Sports Leisure Zone, and Culture and Arts Zone, as well as special drone experiences, campus tours, innovative photo events, and special lectures.

Dongmyung University ambassadors, former Miss Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam titleholders, will support the event proceedings.

Photo events held at six famous spots of Dongmyung University (1st floor of University Headquarters Management Building, Fountain below University Headquarters Management Building, Windmill Rest Area, Goose's Dream Pond, 2nd floor of Central Library Dongmyung Memorial Hall, Engineering Fountain) are also not to be missed.

The Busan Pet Association, Samjin Fish Cake, Hotel Nongshim, Hotel Aquapalis, Jinsamga, Hodupaya, Busan Waterworks Headquarters, Busan Milk, and Air Busan are sponsoring this fair.

Gwak Ok-geum, Director of Admissions and Public Relations, said, “Through the Dongmyung University Open Campus, we hope to provide middle and high school students and other youth with career and job experiences, and that this will be a time for them to develop optimal career exploration and occupational perspectives.”
