[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 3rd that it will start a welfare mall service through BizMekaEZ. BizMekaEZ is a small and medium-sized enterprise groupware solution service launched by KT in 2016, used by about 68,000 companies and 385,000 users. It offers over 30 business solutions including email, electronic approval, messenger, attendance management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and video conferencing.
The welfare mall introduced in BizMekaEZ is provided through a partnership between KT and the welfare mall specialist company Ijenadu. Users can access a variety of daily life-related products and services at reasonable prices, such as ticket reservations, health checkups, accommodation and leisure, and bookstores.
The newly added welfare mall feature in BizMekaEZ can be conveniently used by companies that have adopted BizMekaEZ without separate contracts or partnerships. It is accessible directly from the BizMekaEZ system, so no additional authentication process is required.
KT plans to strengthen partnership cooperation to develop BizMekaEZ into a core platform for small and medium-sized enterprises, providing not only work productivity but also employee welfare services. Earlier in April, KT started a 30% discounted subscription service through BizMekaEZ in collaboration with Millie’s Library. Within this year, office supplies rental services, employee self-development education content, and mobile gift show services will also be introduced.
