Inauguration of Kim Yoon-cheol as the 41st Elected Governor of Hapcheon County in the 8th Term, "I Will Protect the Happy Life of the Residents"

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The inauguration ceremony of the 41st Kim Yoon-cheol, Hapcheon County Governor, was held on the 1st at 10 a.m. at Hapcheon Gymnasium with about 1,500 residents and guests in attendance.

Governor Kim Yoon-cheol began his day with a visit to the Chung Hon Tower for a memorial tribute, then welcomed guests at Hapcheon Gymnasium from 9 a.m. and attended the inauguration ceremony at 10 a.m.

In his inaugural speech, Governor Kim said, “I will be the vanguard protecting the happy lives of our residents,” adding, “Hapcheon where anyone wants to live and anyone can live! I will create a Hapcheon full of fairness, possibilities, and a bright future where everyone can hold hope as much as they dream.”

His key policies include ▲growing Hapcheon into a central city connecting the east-west and north-south nationwide ▲developing tourism linked through a wide-area transportation network ▲revitalizing the local economy and enhancing residents’ welfare ▲creating a Hapcheon full of good jobs where people want to live and can live.

To achieve this, he proposed that all residents join hands and walk together, with the entire local community participating in childcare, neighbors caring for neighbors, and creating a Hapcheon where terms like vulnerable groups and socially disadvantaged do not exist.
