Ildong Pharmaceutical Appoints Vice President Kang Deok-won as New Head of Production Division

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on the 1st that it has recruited Vice President Kang Deok-won as the Head of Production Headquarters.

The new Head Kang graduated from Seoul National University and the University of Southern California (USC), and obtained a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the graduate school of the same university.

Afterwards, he was in charge of QC, GMP, and other tasks at Stason Pharmaceutical in California, Alliance Medical Product of Siegfried Company, Samsung Bioepis, and GC Green Cross.

An official from Ildong Pharmaceutical explained, "The new Head of Production Headquarters will strengthen Ildong Pharmaceutical's production and quality system based on many years of global GMP work experience and expertise, and will especially promote the establishment of production facilities meeting cGMP standards."
