Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency, Recruiting Talent Donors for Returning to Farming and Rural Areas


[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for talent-sharing activities among return-to-farming and return-to-village residents.


The Gyeonggi Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Support Center under the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency announced on the 1st that it is recruiting participants for the "Talent Sharing in the Community for Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Residents" program until the 15th.


The recruitment target is individuals or communities of fewer than five people who have returned to farming or villages and currently reside in the province, with a total of 25 participants. Selected individuals will receive up to 1 million KRW per person in project funding.


Return-to-farming and return-to-village residents who wish to participate can submit documents including a plan for talent donation activities in areas such as housing and environment, welfare and culture, health, and education.

Park Young-joo, head of the Gyeonggi Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Support Center, stated, "We expect this project to help not only with simple volunteering but also with regional revitalization and the stable settlement of return-to-farming and return-to-village residents."
