On the morning of the 30th, the National Pukyong National University held the ‘2022 PKNU SMART & IT JOB FAIR’ on the first floor of Dongwon Jangbogo Hall.
The event was organized to provide high-quality local job information to students majoring in related fields in response to the expanding trend of new industries such as IT and SW, and to offer local companies opportunities to select excellent talent needed in the industrial field.
At the event, 29 companies related to IT and SW located in Busan and the southeastern region, including BNK Busan Bank, BNK System, Volvo Group Korea, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Autonics, and Hwasung Corporation, participated and conducted company introductions and recruitment consultations at their booths.
About 500 participants from Pukyong National University, including students and graduates majoring in IT and SW fields, as well as those who completed IT and SW related programs such as the Convergence SW Talent Training Course, engaged in job-seeking activities.
The job fair also featured special employment lectures, job consultations, and mentoring for students enrolled in the digital new technology employment linkage course by Multicampus, a leading company in IT job training.
Ryu Ji-yeol, head of the Link 3.0 Project Group at Pukyong National University, said, “We hope that through this job fair, students preparing for employment in new industries will gain information about companies that actually need talent, and companies will have expanded opportunities to directly meet excellent local talent equipped with practical skills.”
