POSCO Construction Launches Full-Scale Sales of 'The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2'

[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] POSCO Engineering & Construction is commencing the full-scale sale of ‘The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2,’ which is scheduled to be supplied in Geochang, Gyeongsangnam-do.

The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2 will be located at 1323-4 Gajiri, Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam. It will be built with 6 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 20 above-ground floors, comprising 443 households with exclusive areas of 84 to 158㎡. The unit types are composed of ▲84㎡A 214 units ▲84㎡B 131 units ▲84㎡C 16 units ▲109㎡ 38 units ▲119㎡ 38 units ▲141㎡ 2 units ▲158㎡ 4 units.

Geochang-gun, where The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2 is located, belongs administratively to Gyeongsangnam-do but is conveniently accessible due to its proximity to Jeonbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Daegu. It offers easy access to the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway and Daejeon-Tongyeong Expressway, and additional transportation infrastructure such as the Hamyang-Ulsan Expressway (scheduled for 2024) and the Dalbit Inland Railroad (scheduled for 2030) are planned to be expanded. A planned four-lane road connecting the complex entrance on the north side of the site is expected to open in 2023, further improving accessibility.

The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2 is situated in the Gangbuk area, which is considered the center of Geochang-eup and is highly preferred for residential living due to its abundant living infrastructure. Nearby schools include Arim Elementary, Daeseong Il High School, Daeseong Middle & High School, and Geochang Central High School, all within walking distance.

The Geochang Legal Town, where the Changwon District Court and Prosecutor’s Office (Geochang branch) are relocating, is also planned near the complex, making The Sharp Geochang Porciel Phase 2 a notable residential area for those affiliated with the legal town. Additionally, the complex is close to convenience facilities and natural environments such as Hanaro Mart, Geochang Market, Jukjeon Urban Forest Park, and Geochang Reading Park, as well as administrative institutions including Geochang County Office and Geochang Tax Office.

POSCO Engineering & Construction opened the model house for this complex in Geochang-eup, Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, on the 24th of last month.

The subscription schedule begins with special supply on the 4th of next month, followed by first-priority subscription on the 5th and second-priority subscription on the 6th. The announcement of winners will be on July 12, and the official contract period will be held over four days from July 26 to 29.
