Nexon Unveils Members-Only Hyundai Card

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Nexon and Hyundai Card launched three types of ‘Nexon Hyundai Card’ optimized for game users on the 30th.

‘Nexon Hyundai Card’ is a PLCC (Private Label Credit Card) exclusive to Nexon members, designed with motifs from Nexon’s representative IPs (intellectual properties) such as ‘MapleStory’, ‘KartRider’, and ‘Baram-ui Nara: Yeon’. The card products consist of three types: ‘Nexon Hyundai Card’, focusing on reasonable benefits; ‘Nexon Hyundai Card UNLIMITED’ for premium customers; and ‘Nexon Hyundai Card CHECK’.

With the ‘Nexon Hyundai Card’, users can earn up to 3% unlimited ‘Nexon Hyundai Card Points’ depending on the subscribed product and the previous month’s usage amount. These points can be converted into Nexon Cash or mobile game coupons at the ‘Nexon Hyundai Card Shop’, a member-exclusive store on the Nexon website.

Additionally, an annual billing discount of 60,000 KRW is provided in six lifestyle convenience sectors including Nexon Hyundai Card point vouchers, online shopping malls, delivery apps, digital streaming services, coffee shops, convenience stores, and taxis.

Meanwhile, based on the PLCC payment data secured through collaboration with Hyundai Card, a leading domestic fintech company, Nexon is expected to further strengthen its data science business capabilities for new service development and live game improvements.

Intelligence Labs, leading Nexon’s data science, consists of about 10 organizations and approximately 500 personnel, including the Solution Office, Marketing Development Office, UX Office, and Analysis Office. They strive to create an environment where game users can enjoy games more by advancing additional functions applied to games and developing and applying systems using machine learning and deep learning technologies.
