Ostem Implant Opens Mega Dental Exhibition Hall at Magok Headquarters Building

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Ostem Implant (CEO Eom Taegwan), the world's number one company in implant sales, has unveiled a dental-exclusive exhibition store at its headquarters located in the Magok district of Gangseo-gu, Seoul.

This exhibition space, which gathers only medical equipment and materials used in dental clinics, is the first of its kind in Korea. The exhibition store spans approximately 300 pyeong across the 2nd and 4th floors of the headquarters, housing and allowing testing of over 10,000 products.

The exhibition store displays all implant items representing the company, as well as medical equipment such as unit chairs, CT, panoramic machines, milling machines, oral scanners, 3D printers, X-rays, handpieces, and scalers. It also includes dental materials like bone graft materials, impression materials, restorative materials, and milling materials, dental pharmaceuticals including injectables, oral medications, and topical agents, as well as quasi-drugs and consumables such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, toothbrush sterilizers, and mouthwash?all necessary for dental clinics. Software, a core tool for efficient hospital management and digital dentistry implementation, can also be directly operated and experienced.

This place is attracting attention from dentists preparing to open or remodel clinics. It allows them to view and test numerous devices and equipment at once while directly checking the actual dental interior fixtures and finishing materials. By also examining the model dental clinic located along the route to and from the exhibition store, they can sketch the interior design for new or renovated hospitals.

Ostem Implant, which began its dental interior business in earnest in 2016, actively utilizes this model dental clinic?focused on the technical skills and design capabilities of its interior research institute?as a tour and consultation course, and plans to create synergy with the newly introduced exhibition store.

An Ostem Implant official stated, "Dental equipment is reasonably selected by dentists, technicians, and hygienists who directly experience and test it, but until now, except for offline exhibitions, it was difficult to provide such opportunities." He added, "Now that we have established a permanently operating exhibition store, anyone working in the dental field can visit anytime to look around, and we plan to offer various benefits."

Meanwhile, Ostem Implant has consolidated 15 dental and dental-related research institutes in its Magok headquarters, completed in 2020, and established a large auditorium with 365 seats, seminar rooms of various sizes, and a broadcasting studio equipped with advanced facilities. It actively supports education and events of dental-related associations and organizations. In May, the international academic conference ‘ACOMS 2022,’ recognized as a world-class dental event by the Asian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, was held at the Magok headquarters.
