[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan is expanding its international routes mainly to popular travel destinations and accelerating passenger acquisition by resuming flights to ‘Da Nang,’ a representative travel destination in Vietnam.

On the 29th, Air Busan will resume its Busan-Da Nang route after about 28 months, starting with flight BX773 departing from Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 PM and arriving at Da Nang International Airport at 11:10 PM.

Air Busan’s Busan-Da Nang route departs from Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 PM and arrives at Da Nang International Airport at 11:10 PM.

The return flight departs from Da Nang International Airport at 12:10 AM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 6:30 AM, operating twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

However, the return flight on June 29 will depart from Da Nang International Airport at 2:10 AM and arrive at Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 AM.

Starting July 28, the frequency will increase from twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays to four times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, allowing travelers to plan their trips more conveniently.

Air Busan pioneered the route to Da Nang, Vietnam, from Gimhae International Airport in April 2015 as the first Korean carrier, expanding travel options for local residents. Before COVID-19, it operated twice daily round trips, leading the Da Nang travel boom.

In particular, Da Nang was known as the “Da Nang City of Gyeonggi Province” due to the large number of Korean visitors. Its popularity is attributed to ▲ relatively short flight time ▲ affordable local prices ▲ beautiful natural scenery and convenient resort facilities.

An Air Busan official said, “Da Nang is well-equipped with resort facilities, making it ideal for family trips, and there are many cultural heritage sites nearby, allowing travelers to enjoy both sightseeing and relaxation.” He added, “Since all quarantine measures, including COVID-19 testing, have been lifted in Vietnam, we expect demand for travel to Da Nang to increase rapidly.”
