Japan Keidanren Resumes Meeting After 3 Years

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) announced on the 29th that it plans to resume the 29th Korea-Japan Business Conference with the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) after three years.
According to the FKI, the two organizations will jointly hold the meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the 4th of next month at the FKI Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul.
About 20 business figures from both countries are expected to attend the meeting. Since the launch of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, they plan to discuss Korea-Japan cooperation for realizing a sustainable society and the new world order and international relations for about two hours.
FKI Chairman Huh Chang-soo and Keidanren Chairman Tokura Masakazu will deliver opening remarks side by side, followed by sessions on "Korea-Japan Economic Trends and Outlook," "Korea-Japan Cooperation for Realizing a Sustainable Society," and "New World Order and International Relations." Afterward, they will adopt a joint statement and close the meeting.
The FKI is traditionally known as an organization with a strong network in Japan. Key business figures from both countries have consistently held meetings to promote mutual understanding, friendship, and economic cooperation.
