[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Linos announced on the 28th that it has signed a maintenance contract worth approximately 11 billion KRW for the disaster safety communication network wireless system used for police security operations with the National Police Agency.
The total contract amount, won as a consortium with KT, is about 44.1 billion KRW. Linos's contract amount accounts for about 25% of the entire project.
This project involves managing the disaster safety communication network wireless system for the National Police Agency (headquarters) and 18 metropolitan and provincial police agencies. The main objective is to ensure the system operates stably 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption through failure prevention, recovery, and performance improvement. Linos plans to systematically operate the police agency's wireless system and related equipment until 2025, striving to minimize failures and maintain stability.
Lee Sang-gu, Vice President of Linos, said, "Linos participated in the first, second, and third phases of the National Police Agency's disaster safety communication network wireless system construction projects," adding, "We are capable of performing efficient maintenance operations." He further stated, "Based on the accumulated experience and know-how, we will demonstrate our capabilities in various public system integration (SI) projects."
Since the establishment of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's disaster safety communication network in 2018, Linos has recently secured contracts for the Navy disaster safety network terminal project and the Army disaster safety network terminal project.
