National Singing Contest 'Muan-gun Edition' Held at Hoesan Baengnyeonji Special Stage

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The 25th Muan Lotus Festival commemorative KBS National Singing Contest Muan-gun edition will be held on July 23 at 3 PM on the special stage at Muan Hoisan Baekryeonji.

The preliminary round for the National Singing Contest Jeonnam Muan-gun edition will take place on August 21 at 1 PM at the Muan Seungdal Culture and Arts Center.

Applications are open to all Muan-gun residents regardless of age and can be submitted at each eup/myeon office until August 19.

The final round will be held as a public recording at Hoisan Baekryeonji on August 23, with invited singers such as Kim Yeon-ja, Kim Hye-yeon, Park Gu-yoon, Park Jin-do, and One Plus One expected to perform.

County Governor Kim San said, “I hope that the Muan Lotus Festival, held face-to-face for the first time in three years, will become more abundant and widely known nationwide through the KBS National Singing Contest,” and added, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many talented residents.”

Meanwhile, the Muan Lotus Festival will be held for four days from August 21 to 24, featuring live performances set against the backdrop of the 1 million pyeong Hoisan Baekryeonji, a media facade show, lotus path boat exploration, lotus functional theme experience center, national cooking contest, water play area, animal farm, and various other attractions and activities.
