[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Former members of the Gwanak-gu Public Relations Department are beaming with joy after a large number of promotions.
Gwanak-gu carried out promotions effective July 1, including level 4, 5, and 6 positions. Among those promoted were Yoon Youngshim, Head of the Media Team, and Kim Yonggap, Senior Staff, both from the Public Relations Department, who were promoted to levels 5 and 6 respectively.
Team Leader Yoon Youngshim was recognized for her efforts in COVID-19 response publicity over the past year. Senior Staff Kim Yonggap was assigned to the Public Relations Department immediately after joining Gwanak-gu and established himself as a representative PR man by handling press coverage three times.
Additionally, Kang Jaehee, Senior Staff of Cheongnyong-dong, and Oh Soonhee, Senior Staff of the Safety Management Department, both former members of the Public Relations Department known for their excellent interpersonal skills, also celebrated their promotions this time.
The large number of promotions among former Gwanak-gu Public Relations Department employees is interpreted as evidence that the role of public relations has become increasingly important as the history of local autonomy matures.
Seongdong-gu also celebrated the promotions of Lee Jinyoung, Head of the Media Team, and Nam Rayoung, Senior Staff of the Media Team, to levels 5 and 6 on the 27th.
