The Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) has been recognized as an institution that excels in recruitment for four consecutive years.
KIOST received the ‘Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution Certification’ from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) and was awarded the certification plaque on the 24th. It has obtained the certification without fail for four years.
The Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution Certification system is a program that grants certification through evaluation by a professional certification body to public institutions and companies that operate fair recruitment focused on job competency by excluding bias factors in the hiring process.
Since 2018, KIOST has introduced NCS-based blind recruitment to eliminate bias factors in the hiring process and recruit based on competencies.
As a result of evaluating certification standards across 9 evaluation items in 3 areas?recruitment system, operation, and performance?and 59 detailed items, KIOST achieved high scores and was selected as a Fair Recruitment Excellence Institution.
Director Kim Woong-seo said, “Taking this four-year consecutive certification as an opportunity, we will further strengthen our transparent talent recruitment system and continue to ensure a fair recruitment process.”
