Construction and Development of Campgrounds, Trails, and Experiential Lodging Facilities
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gangwon Inje-gun announced on the 27th that it will change the park plan of 'Amisan County Park,' which has been restricted from development for a long time, and develop it as a core area for economic revitalization in Inje-eup.
'Amisan,' which offers a panoramic view of Inje-eup downtown, boasts dense forests and beautiful natural scenery, and was designated as a county park in 1990.
The county plans to create experiential lodging facilities such as a campground, trails, tree walk, net adventure, and forest playground by 2025, and install a zipline at the mountain summit to connect trails to nearby Bibongsan and Bakdal Gochi.
Nearby, various attractions and activities such as an artificial waterfall and suspension bridge are also being planned.
Earlier, in December last year, the county established a development plan for economic revitalization of Inje-eup downtown to reorganize the urban spatial structure.
From January to June this year, 42 million KRW was invested to conduct a park plan change project, and the park plan change was officially announced on the 23rd.
Choi Sang-gi, the mayor of Inje-gun, said, "We will foster the Amisan area as a key tourist destination in Inje-eup to attract tourists dispersed throughout the region to the Inje-eup downtown area."
