Railway Union Marches with 4,000 Members Near Presidential Office on the 28th

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The Korea Railroad Workers' Union, affiliated with the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, will hold a rally with about 4,000 participants in front of Seoul Station and near the Presidential Office on the 28th.

According to legal circles on the 27th, the Seoul Administrative Court Administrative Division 13 (Chief Judge Park Jeong-dae) partially accepted the Korea Railroad Workers' Union's request for a suspension of enforcement against the outdoor assembly ban notification filed against Yongsan Police Station on the same day.

Following the court's decision, the Korea Railroad Workers' Union plans to hold the first rally in front of Seoul Station tomorrow, then march through Samgakji Station in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to the War Memorial located opposite the Presidential Office.

However, the court limited the number of participants for the second rally held in front of the War Memorial to 500 people.

The rally time was set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., one hour shorter than the union's original plan.

This is the first time since the Presidential Office moved to Yongsan that a large number of people will march all the way to the front of the office.
