Baekdudaegan Ecological Education, Training Programs Including Planting Companion Plants
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yuk Miseok] On the 24th, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it conducted a 'Planting Companion Plants' experience program, part of a job training course, with the participation of 35 staff members from the Jeollanam-do Office of Education at the Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Center.
The participants toured the 'Smart Garden' established within the Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Center and the indoor air-purifying plants planted throughout the exhibition hall, and planted various types of succulents during the companion plant planting experience.
Following this, they received education on the characteristics and maintenance methods of succulents in the seminar room.
A county official stated, "We will continue to conduct companion plant planting experience programs targeting various age groups, striving to establish this as an educational venue where people can enjoy plant viewing and horticultural experiences in one place."
