A man in his 30s collapsed in a foam-filled room, safely transported by Changwon Coast Guard Gyeongnam Changwon Maritime Police are urgently transporting an emergency patient to Jangcheon Port Sand Pier in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] A crew member in his 30s who collapsed on the stern deck of a 2000-ton sand carrier was safely transported to the hospital thanks to the Coast Guard's emergency response.


According to the Changwon Maritime Police Station in Gyeongnam on the 27th, at around 10:45 a.m. on the 26th, the Coast Guard received a report that a fellow crew member had lost consciousness while foaming at the mouth. The Coast Guard immediately dispatched the coastal rescue boat from the Jinhae Police Substation to the scene and requested support from the 119 ambulance.


The Changwon Coast Guard arrived at the sea 0.4 miles in front of Jangcheon Pier in Jinhae-gu, Changwon City, where the vessel was located, transferred the patient to the coastal rescue boat, and then entered Jinhae Jangcheon Port sand pier to hand over the patient to the waiting 119 ambulance team, who transported him to a nearby hospital.


A Changwon Coast Guard official stated, “Even when emergency patients occur, we will do our best to protect the lives of the people by promptly transporting them without losing focus.”
