One-Stop Customized Investment Information and Complex Investment Consulting by PBs with Over 10 Years of Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Samsung Securities is holding an event until the 30th where 300 people who leave comments after watching the 'Baro Consultation' advertisement video uploaded on its official YouTube channel (Samsung POP) will be selected by lottery to receive a Baedal Minjok gifticon worth 10,000 KRW.
Samsung Securities' 'Baro Consultation' service is a newly launched service from early 2020 that extends the PB (Private Banker) consultation service, which was only available at branches, to digital premium customers as well.
The feature of 'Baro Consultation' is that customers can consult with a PB immediately without waiting in a queue. From account opening to investment and tax-related matters, customers can receive one-stop consultation covering complex investment consulting along with transaction processing. Customers who want to schedule a consultation can also select the desired date and consultation topics (domestic stocks, overseas stocks, financial products, tax-saving products such as pensions, futures and options, etc.) in advance through the Samsung Securities app 'mPOP'.
The PBs in charge of Baro Consultation are over 100 industry experts with an average of more than 10 years of experience, providing professional consultations that result in high customer satisfaction. In fact, customer satisfaction surveyed immediately after using the Baro Consultation service scored 96 out of 100 (survey period: January to May 2022), and the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of customers who experienced Baro Consultation was about 39 percentage points higher than those who did not.
A Samsung Securities official stated, "Due to the rapid expansion of market volatility caused by US interest rate hikes and geopolitical issues, the demand for immediate investment inquiries is increasing," adding, "Investors are highly satisfied with the fact that they can receive expert investment advice whenever needed through Baro Consultation."
