[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The second chapter of the group BTS's activities is beginning. The first to step forward is member J-Hope (real name Jung Hoseok), who will release a solo album next month.


According to Big Hit Music on the 26th, J-Hope will release his solo album "Jack In The Box" on July 15 and embark on full-fledged solo activities.


Big Hit Music explained, "'Jack In The Box' is a solo album that contains J-Hope's ambition to break the existing mold and show a more mature side, as implied by the title," adding, "You can experience J-Hope's unique musical world and distinctive charm."


Previously, in March 2018, J-Hope released the mixtape "Hope World," which conveyed his honest thoughts and feelings, spreading J-Hope's positive energy worldwide.


In September 2019, he released "Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)," a collaboration with American singer and actress Becky G, which reached number 81 on Billboard's main singles chart, the Hot 100.


Ahead of his solo activities, J-Hope shared his thoughts on the album release through the fan community platform Weverse, saying, "Let's get started! Let's go!"
