Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education Announces Regular Personnel Changes Effective July 1

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education carried out the regular personnel appointments for 342 local government officials effective July 1st.

This regular personnel appointment includes 8 acting positions at grade 5 or higher due to vacancies from retirement preparation training at the end of this month, 34 promotions for grade 6 or below, 249 transfers, and 1 new appointment.

In particular, for the positions of Jang Munsu, Director of the Administration Bureau at the headquarters, Jeong Yeongu, Auditor, and Ahn Sangseop, Director of the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center, who will be undergoing retirement preparation training, acting appointments were made to prevent any operational gaps.

Seon Gyeryong, General Affairs Division Chief, was appointed as acting Director of the Administration Bureau. Han Hyunsuk, Integrity General Manager, will serve as acting Auditor. Hyun Kyungsik, Director of the Educational Autonomy Division, will serve as acting Director of the Gwangju Student Education and Culture Center.

Meanwhile, transfers for positions at grade 5 or higher will be made after the inauguration of Education Superintendent Lee Jeongseon of the 4th direct election term.
