[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Hanwha Systems expressed gratitude to the veterans who served the nation during the Korean War in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

On the 23rd, Hanwha Systems announced that it had prepared 6,000 Hope Boxes containing daily necessities and quarantine supplies, which were delivered to the Army's 6th Division, 28th Division, 55th Division, and the 1st Logistics Support Command. The boxes will be distributed to the homes of veterans across the country through the hands of army soldiers.

Hanwha Systems planned this sharing activity to provide practical assistance by delivering consolation goods composed of essential products to elderly Korean War veterans living in welfare blind spots. The activity was carried out in collaboration with the nonprofit organization "People Sharing Hope," which conducts various sharing projects for socially marginalized groups.

Uh Seong-cheol, CEO of Hanwha Systems, said, "We express deep gratitude and respect for the patriotism and sacrifice of the national heroes," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility so that society can maintain respect and interest for veterans and national merit recipients who sacrificed for the country."

Hanwha Systems is conducting various social contribution programs that practice patriotism and veterans’ honor, including housing improvement projects for veterans’ families, maintaining the National Cemetery grounds, establishing and donating books to military libraries to foster a reading culture among soldiers, and career mentoring for military personnel.
