AIoT Technology Applied Smart Dehumidifier Unveiled
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Xiaomi announced at an online briefing on the 22nd that it will officially launch the latest model in its wearable product lineup, the 'Xiaomi Smart Band 7,' on the 23rd.
The Smart Band 7, newly added to the Mi Band series, has undergone significant updates to enhance user convenience in various ways. It features a larger 1.62-inch AMOLED high-resolution display, improving visibility by 25%. The UI/UX design offers over 110 sports modes, and the GPU has also been upgraded.
The Smart Band 7 includes VO2 max professional exercise analysis and three additional features to support users' fitness lives. Through VO2 max professional exercise analysis, it measures the maximum oxygen uptake during incremental exercise and adds three functions: training load, recovery time, and training effect. Users can set their own exercise schedules and intensity and track their workout performance.
The health monitoring function has also been improved so users can track their health status anytime. All-day blood oxygen monitoring advises users to move or rest when low SpO2 levels or safety limits are reached. Heart rate monitoring alerts users to stress levels and supports sleep tracking functions.
The Smart Band 7 boasts a 14-day battery life under typical usage and has a 5ATM water resistance rating to withstand various daily activities. Even when the band is locked, the Always-on Display (AOD) function allows users to check some information such as time, date, and notifications. It is also praised for offering over 100 watch faces and colorful straps.
Steven Wang, Xiaomi's General Manager for East Asia, said, “Xiaomi will continue to expand its smart wearable product lineup for domestic consumers who value health and lifestyle. Among them, the newly launched Smart Band 7 is expected to become a training partner for customers through over 110 sports modes and four training points.”
Meanwhile, Xiaomi also introduced the 'Xiaomi Smart Dehumidifier' for the first time in the domestic market on the same day. This product combines artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into an AIoT ecosystem device, launched in time for the rainy season.
