KH Group Alpensia Resort Signs MOU with Seoul Sports Council

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] KH Gangwon Development, which operates the KH Group Alpensia Resort, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a mutual cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Metropolitan Sports Council.


On the 21st, at the Seoul Metropolitan Sports Council meeting room in Jungnang-gu, Seoul, through the 'Business Agreement Ceremony for the Development of Seoul Sports and Revitalization of the Local Economy,' both parties agreed to lay the foundation for regional tourism development to allow new and diverse content to flow into the Pyeongchang area.


Under the MOU, the Seoul Metropolitan Sports Council will provide benefits linked to Alpensia Resort to its executives and employees, and KH Gangwon Development will cooperate as a strategic partner to revitalize the tourism industry in the Pyeongchang region.


KH Group Alpensia Resort is located at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level in Daegwallyeong, Gangwon-do, providing the most suitable atmospheric pressure for the human body. It is a place blessed with pristine natural conditions. The resort has various accommodation, cultural, and leisure facilities including Alpensia Country Club (27-hole members-only), 700 Golf Club (18-hole public), 5-star hotels such as InterContinental Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort Hotel, European-style condominium Holiday Inn & Suites, Water Park Ocean 700, ski slopes, alpine coaster, luge, concert hall, and convention center.
