This Year Is Not Just Staying in the Room but Real Bangkok! ... Air Busan Launches New Bangkok Routes from Busan and Incheon Air Busan A321LR aircraft.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Air Busan will begin operating flights to Bangkok, the most popular travel destination in Southeast Asia, starting this July.


Air Busan will launch new Bangkok routes from Gimhae Airport and Incheon Airport starting July 20, expanding its international flight network.


The Bangkok route departing from Busan leaves Gimhae International Airport at 6:00 PM and arrives at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 9:20 PM. The return flight departs Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 10:20 PM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 6:20 AM.


The Bangkok route departing from Incheon leaves Incheon International Airport at 8:35 PM and arrives at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 12:55 AM. The return flight departs Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 1:55 AM and arrives at Incheon International Airport at 9:45 AM.


Both the Gimhae and Incheon routes to Bangkok will operate one round trip daily.


Air Busan stated that with overseas travel sentiment recovering rapidly, many people are expected to spend their summer vacations abroad, leading to the launch of the new route to Bangkok, Thailand, the most popular travel destination in Southeast Asia.


Bangkok was the most visited destination by Koreans in 2019, boasting numerous tourist attractions and culinary travel opportunities, so Air Busan expects passenger demand to increase rapidly.


Additionally, by operating Bangkok routes from both Incheon and Busan, passengers will have more convenient immigration schedules, enhancing passenger convenience, and the company expects to benefit from fixed cost reductions, according to an official.


An Air Busan official said, “We recommend those who have longed for Bangkok during the COVID-19 pandemic to enjoy their trip using Air Busan, which offers convenient schedules. We plan to continuously expand international routes focusing on popular destinations to accelerate performance improvement and increase corporate value.”


To commemorate the launch of the Thailand Bangkok route, Air Busan will offer a 20,000 KRW discount coupon for the ‘bundle service’?which includes pre-purchased baggage, pre-selected seats, and in-flight meal orders?to customers who purchase Bangkok tickets from June 22 to July 7.
