[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Daesang Group announced on the 22nd that it has launched a metaverse community called ‘UjuLike’ for MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) employees.
UjuLike was created by Daesang Holdings’ Corporate Culture Team using the metaverse platform ‘ZEP’. Daesang Group plans to strengthen digital communication among MZ generation employees through UjuLike while fostering enjoyable experiences and a culture of voluntary participation.
Only late Millennials and Generation Z employees, born in 1989 or later, among all Daesang Group employees can join UjuLike. MZ generation employees choose nicknames and characters to use in UjuLike and participate anonymously. The policy is to guarantee maximum anonymity within UjuLike to activate a space for free communication.
Before opening UjuLike, Daesang Holdings conducted surveys, group interviews, and beta tests targeting Daesang Group’s MZ generation employees. Based on this, UjuLike was organized into Club Planet for hobby and self-development small groups, People Planet for sharing heartfelt stories, and Communication Hall and Culture Lounge where events, town halls, and training take place. Daesang Group plans to support the activation of exchanges and communication among MZ generation employees through UjuLike in various ways, including providing spaces and programs.
