Gyeonggi-do Rolls Up Sleeves to Support Social Economy Enterprises

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province has rolled up its sleeves to support social economy enterprises.

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 22nd that it is recruiting social economy enterprises to participate in the 'Social Economy Short-term Planning Exhibition' to be held twice on the 9th-10th and 16th-17th of next month at Let's Run Park, Korea Racing Authority in Gwacheon, until the 27th of this month.

Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Social Economy Center, this planning exhibition was designed to secure sales channels for products of social economy enterprises.

At this event, visitors can directly see and purchase various products produced by social economy enterprises. In particular, since the event is conducted through a direct sales method by producers, information and inquiries about the products can be immediately addressed on site.

Social economy enterprises encompass social enterprises, cooperatives, village enterprises, and self-support enterprises. Last year, the province held a 'Social Economy Public Procurement Activation Declaration Ceremony' with representatives of 26 public institutions under Gyeonggi Province, promising to prioritize the use of not only goods purchased from social economy enterprises but also various services and labor.
