[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Jadam Chicken announced on the 20th that it has launched four new menu items, including Soboro Chicken.
Soboro Chicken is a boneless chicken breast dish developed in collaboration with CJ CheilJedang. It is made by aging domestic chicken breast for a day, then coating it with a special batter that has the texture of soboro and frying it. The dish features juicy meat and a unique crispiness from the applied crumble breader, offering a diverse texture experience.
The signature Jadam Chicken sauce that pairs well with Soboro Chicken is based on honey mustard with added smoky flavor, boasting a tangy yet deep taste. When eaten with Soboro Chicken, it maximizes moisture while making the somewhat bland taste of chicken breast more savory and rich. According to Jadam Chicken, this sauce received positive feedback from employees and franchise owners during pre-testing.
Additionally, a Chicken Shrimp Salad using Soboro Chicken has been released as a dine-in exclusive menu item. Jadam Chicken expects it to pair well with alcoholic beverages, as it is served with fresh vegetables, a refreshing sauce, and fried shrimp.
Also launched are Eopo Twigim, a fried fish snack that evokes nostalgia, and I'm Pine Sherbet, a refreshing dessert made by freezing pineapple flesh.
