Gold Plate, a frozen food specialist company led by CEO Lee Jeong-taek, announced that it will hold a ‘Hamheung Naengmyeon for 100 Won’ event on its operated platform, FoodYap.

The ‘Hamheung Naengmyeon for 100 Won’ event, starting on Monday, June 20 and running until Sunday, July 10, targets FoodYap’s popular private brand ‘Four Seasons Surasang’ products, including Mul Naengmyeon and Bibim Naengmyeon. Members can purchase one Hamheung Naengmyeon per ID for just 100 won without any purchase conditions. Existing FoodYap members will also receive the same benefit.

Additionally, all customers who complete FoodYap membership registration will receive a 5,000 won coupon that can be used immediately like cash, along with a benefit to purchase all menu items at a 30% discounted price. If a new member enters a referrer’s ID at the final step of registration, both the inviter and the invitee will receive an additional 5,000 won coupon to use on their second purchase.

Furthermore, downloading the FoodYap app grants 2,000 won in reward points, and adding FoodYap as a KakaoTalk friend and making a repeat purchase will provide a 3,000 won coupon.

Meanwhile, Gold Plate, established in July 2013, is a 10-year frozen food specialist company with annual sales of 20 billion won as of 2021. It operates the online shopping mall ‘FoodYap’ and a complex cultural space called ‘FoodYap Place’ in Hannam-dong where customers can experience FoodYap products. Based on years of domestic online sales know-how, the company is preparing to open about 300 offline direct stores specializing in frozen food in the metropolitan area.

Lee Jeong-taek, CEO of Gold Plate, the operator of FoodYap, said, “Ahead of the intense summer heat, we planned the Hamheung Naengmyeon event, one of FoodYap’s popular summer menus, to reward customers who have loved FoodYap and to offer high-quality products at reasonable prices to consumers burdened by the ongoing rise in dining costs. We also see this as a great opportunity to promote FoodYap’s convenient meals.”
