Jeonnam Hwasun-gun, Recruiting 22 University Students for Summer Part-Time Jobs

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do is recruiting 22 university students for part-time jobs to help improve their social adaptation skills and provide opportunities to earn tuition fees during the summer vacation.

The recruitment period is from the 20th to the 24th of this month.

As of the announcement date (17th), any enrolled student at a domestic university who has had a residence in Hwasun-gun for more than one year, including both parents and the student, can apply.

Students on leave, those expected to enter or graduate, students enrolled in cyber universities or the Korea National Open University, and those who have participated in university student part-time jobs in the past two years are excluded.

There are two types of selection: regional selection and general selection. For regional selection, applicants can choose to apply to one of the five myeon (township) administrative welfare centers (Hancheon-myeon, Baeka-myeon, Dongbok-myeon, Sapyeong-myeon, Dong-myeon) they wish.

Selected students will be assigned to the main office and eup/myeon offices, where they will gain various administrative experiences such as assisting with administrative and field work and providing civil service guidance for three weeks from the 11th to the 29th of next month.

A Hwasun-gun official said, “This will be a great opportunity for local university students interested in administrative work to gain broad social experience,” adding, “We hope this experience will serve as a foundation for their future before entering society.”
