Promotion of Cooperation for Robot Market Discovery and Commercialization

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 16th that it will promote cooperation with Electron Land to explore and commercialize the robot market.

KT and Electron Land will open the KT Robot Center on the 3rd floor of Electron Land in Yongsan, Seoul, where they will demonstrate and sell KT's main robots, including service robots and disinfection robots.

Customers can visit the KT Robot Center at Electron Land in Yongsan to directly experience the service robots and disinfection robots, and can also submit purchase applications on-site through Electron Land. Installation and after-sales management will be handled by KT.

Based on the cooperation model at Electron Land in Yongsan, KT plans to conduct education and promotion at 32 major Electron Land locations nationwide and expand its robot business cooperation with Electron Land across the country.

Ok Chi-guk, CEO of Electron Land, said, "We expect good results from the meeting of Electron Land, an IT home appliance distribution company leading the 4th industrial revolution, and KT's AI robot vision."
