Investment Consultations and Corporate Presentation (IR) for 28 Startups and Venture Companies in Gangwon-do
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gangwon Province will hold the 'Gangwon Investment Partners Day' on the 16th, where fund management companies and startup and venture businesses meet regularly for 1:1 in-depth investment consultations.
This is the second event following the '1st Gangwon Investment Partners Day' held last April. Prior to hosting the 'Investment Partners Day,' the province formed the Gangwon Province Investment Institution Council in cooperation with the Gangwon Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration and Gangwon Technopark.
The event, held in Gangneung (at the C-MARK Hotel), will include eight fund management companies such as Sopung Ventures Co., Ltd., which manages the 'Gangwon-type Venture Fund' established by the province last year, Gangwon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, Sejong Venture Partners Co., Ltd., Ice Square Ventures Co., Ltd., and three local banks (NongHyup, Shinhan Bank, and Industrial Bank of Korea).
A total of 28 companies will participate in on-site consultations, with five of them holding investor relations (IR) presentations. The three local banks will provide financial consultations.
Park Kwang-yong, head of the Corporate Support Division, said, "Through the 'Gangwon Investment Partners Day,' where investors and companies meet regularly, companies can increase predictability in investment consultations, and investors are expected to discover promising startup companies with potential within the province."
