- Achievements Five Years After Launch, 40% Surge in Usage from Q4 Last Year to Q1 This Year
- Meeting Customer Needs with Mobile-Specialized Services like Electronic Contracts and Vehicle Monitoring and Management
IMS Mobility, a provider of mobility open solutions, announced on the 15th that the number of electronic contracts created through its car rental ERP system 'IMS.form' has surpassed 1 million. This milestone was achieved five years after its launch in 2017.
The number of electronic contracts created via IMS.form has rapidly increased. In 2021, approximately 415,000 electronic contracts were generated through IMS.form, representing a roughly 76% surge compared to about 235,000 contracts in 2020.
To date, 1,134 companies nationwide have used IMS.form to create electronic contracts. Considering that there are a total of 2,441 car rental companies currently operating in South Korea based on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s national standard data for car rental companies, it can be seen that about 46% of car rental companies use IMS.form.
Currently, IMS.form supports the creation of general and insurance electronic contracts through its linkage with 'RENCAR,' the nation’s first accident replacement platform, and also offers the 'IMS.Gwataero' service for changing the name on penalty tickets. Additionally, the vehicle monitoring and management service 'IMS.connect' is also integrated.
In particular, IMS.form has expanded the traditionally PC-centered car rental work environment into the mobile domain, allowing IMS.form users to manage electronic contracts and vehicles in a mobile environment.
Jo Young-tak, CEO of IMS Mobility, stated, “The fact that IMS.form has been able to generate over 1 million electronic contracts is thanks to the support of all our member companies,” adding, “Since it has great scalability compared to other services, we expect to create synergistic effects in many more fields going forward.”
