Sajo Daerim Launches Vegan Sweet and Sour Pork 'Daerimseon Meat-Free Sweet and Sour Pork'


[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Sajo Daerim announced on the 15th that it will launch ‘Daerimseon Meat-Free Tangsuyuk,’ made with 100% plant-based meat substitutes.

Daerimseon Meat-Free Tangsuyuk includes plant-based meat substitute tangsuyuk along with a special sauce that enhances the taste and flavor of tangsuyuk. It can be cooked not only in a frying pan but also in an air fryer, allowing consumers to easily and conveniently enjoy restaurant-quality tangsuyuk.


In line with the growing vegetarian population, Sajo Daerim has been releasing various vegan products. In 2020, it introduced ‘Daerimseon 0.6 Chedam Mandu,’ the first vegan dumpling officially certified by the Korea Vegan Certification Institute among domestic dumpling distributors. Last year, it actively expanded the vegetarian product market by launching ‘0.6 Sun Mandu,’ filled with savory soybean pulp and soft tofu as dumpling fillings.

A Sajo Daerim representative stated, “As vegetarianism becomes a lifestyle, vegetarian products are becoming increasingly diverse. Sajo Daerim will continue to introduce various vegetarian products and strive to expand the vegetarian product market.”
