Gmarket, Smile Miya Club NFT Promotion... "Targeting MZ Generation" Gmarket is holding a promotion to celebrate the complete sell-out of the non-fungible token (NFT) 'Smile Miya Club'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Gmarket announced on the 15th that it will hold a promotion to celebrate the complete sell-out of the non-fungible token (NFT) ‘Smile Miya Club,’ jointly released with FSN subsidiary Hand Studio in connection with the simple payment service SmilePay.

Smile Miya Club is an NFT project inspired by the profile photo of K-pop artist Sunmi, and all 3,000 units issued on the 3rd were completely sold out. Gmarket is expanding NFT benefits for customers who own Smile Miya Club, sequentially launching an airdrop event that distributes NFTs and SmileCash for free. From the 15th to the 22nd, a SmileCash random box event will provide up to 5 million KRW worth of SmileCash, continuing for a total of four rounds at two-week intervals. From the end of this month to early next month, a Smile Club annual fee payback box event will also provide 30,000 KRW in SmileCash.

Gmarket has also prepared travel and airline ticket discount coupons. From the 23rd of this month to the 5th of next month, three types of discount coupons usable for overseas packages, domestic accommodations, and airline ticket payments will be provided. Customers can enjoy discounts of up to 300,000 KRW.

A Gmarket official said, “Starting with this project, the first e-commerce NFT in Korea, we will continuously expand the NFT business area and increase contact points with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), who have high NFT purchasing power.” He added, “We expect Smile Club and SmilePay to become more active by providing more diverse benefits and events linked to the Smile Club membership program.”
