[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] Prosecutors have once again dismissed the allegations that singer Kim Gun-mo sexually assaulted a woman at a bar.
According to the legal community on the 14th, the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office rejected the appeal case regarding Kim's rape charge on the 7th. They upheld the initial investigation agency's decision to clear Kim of charges.
Kim was accused of rape by Ms. A in December 2019. Ms. A claimed that Kim sexually assaulted her at a bar in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul in 2016. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, which investigated the case, concluded in November last year that the charges were not substantiated after reviewing related testimonies and evidence. Ms. A appealed, but the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office did not accept it.
