[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Sambootoken announced on the 14th that it has won the contract for the construction of a multi-family housing complex in Sabuk-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do.
The project won by Sambootoken involves constructing 333 units in six buildings ranging from one basement floor to 13 above-ground floors at San 153-5, Sabuk-ri, Sabuk-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do.
The contract amount is 64.3 billion KRW, which corresponds to 20% of last year's sales of 320.6 billion KRW, and the construction period is 29 months from the start date.
Within a 1.5 km radius of the project site, there is an intercity bus terminal and National Road No. 38, providing excellent accessibility, and Sabuk Station on the Taebaek Line is located within 500 meters.
Nearby, Sabuk Market and hotels are concentrated, and there are many commercial real estate properties linked to Kangwon Land, creating a high potential demand for employees and partners of hotels and resorts living close to their workplaces. Sabuk Elementary School, Sabuk Middle School, and Sabuk High School form a school zone.
A representative of Sambootoken stated, “Sabuk-eup, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do is expected to become a new residential town in Jeongseon with various residential infrastructures,” adding, “We will create a high-quality luxury apartment as a landmark of the region.”
